Today we’re saddened by the loss of NYSSA member Bob Newhouse. Bob was a member of several Rochester area clubs. Over the years Bob had a significant presence on the field, both as a shooter and as a referee.
Bob recently stopped by the Finger Lakes Skeet League shoot at 4 Point, spending time chatting with folks about the old times and how he enjoyed refereeing skeet. He traveled the country as a referee for many years, and was inducted into the NYSSA Hall of Fame as a referee in 2004. Bob was also inducted to the NSSA’s Hall of Fame Referee Honor Roll.
He’ll be missed.
