Annually, the Executive Committee of the New York State Skeet Association has selected State Teams. Historically, team members have been honored at the New York State Championship Banquet.
Over the years, both the number of awards, and the criteria for eligibility has changed. Sadly, the NYSSA has not had a consistent method of maintaining records of annual team membership. Most recently, the teams were included in our Records Annual. It is believed that they may have been previously included in State Shoot programs. Other sources of information include old copies of the Skeet Shooting Review or Skeet Shooting News published by the NSSA.
The chart that follows provides links to the teams since 1960. Note that we do not have information for all years. If you click on a date and no team appears, we have yet to locate the information. If you have any old programs or annuals, please help us find the missing years!

Current Criteria:
Open & Concurrent Teams– 600 all 4 gauges, 300 doubles
Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior Veteran– 300 all 4 gauges and doubles
Super Veteran– 500 total targets any gauge
Only 400 total “Targets Only” targets for state team consideration.
